Daylight analysis and design optimisation

Summary/

The daylight performance of the Daskalopoulos arts centre has been assessed in accordance with the LEED EQ Daylight credit. LEED uses the Spatial Daylight Autonomy (sDA) metric to measure daylight levels and Annual Sunlight Exposure (ASE) to measure overexposure to direct sunlight. LEED provides a framework to create healthy, highly efficient and cost-saving green buildings. It is managed and administered by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) whose stated mission is to transform the way buildings and communities are designed, built and operated, enabling an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy, and prosperous environment that improves the quality of life.
